Novelty from Utz: A special container for chafing dishes

Chafing dishes are indispensable in today’s catering industry. They are used wherever a buffet is set up at parties and events. But how do these (usually high-quality) chafing dishes reach their intended venue safely and in clean condition? The solution is called RAKO.

Novelty from Utz: A special container for chafing dishes

Most conventional chafing dishes can be transported safely and in logistically efficient manner in these robust plastic containers (external dimensions 800 x 400 x 325 mm). The RAKO is characterised by safe stacking and a high stacking load capacity. Contact with foods is safe as the containers are manufactured from food-grade plastic. Thanks to the smooth walls, the boxes are easily and hygienically cleaned. Depending on the size of the chafing dishes, the container leaves sufficient room for additional fire-lighter gels or cooking utensils. The large external surfaces also permit the attachment of a company logo or lettering.

The containers can be sealed in dust- and splash-proof manner with a solid hinged lid and two snap locks. For example, if several RAKO containers have to be stored in the shelf or transported by a manual lift truck, we recommend the plastic pallet UPAL-U from Utz as a safe and clean base. The basic dimension of this Euro pallet allows three special containers for chafing dishes placed in transverse direction.
